Our calling

Refuge is where restoration begins.

Kadesh Foundation is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) standing in the fight against human trafficking worldwide and supporting organizations that help people recover from addiction.

Hope. Healing. Restoration.

Why Kadesh?

Kadesh—pronounced KA-desh—was a place of refuge set apart in the biblical story of Joshua. That picture of safety, belonging, and a future speaks directly to our mission.

We support work that sees the whole person. Long-term restoration can include safe housing, counseling, discipleship, evidence-informed addiction care, peer support, education, employment preparation, healthy relationships, and the unhurried time healing requires.

Our mission
To stand in the fight against human trafficking worldwide and strengthen trustworthy organizations advancing addiction recovery through restoration, prevention, education, partnership, and community action.

Our commitments

Dignity before drama

We tell the truth about trafficking without exploiting the people affected by it. Survivors are never fundraising props.

Long-term restoration

Trauma and recovery do not follow a campaign calendar. We value patient, relational programs that help people rebuild stability over time and connect to appropriate levels of care.

Responsible recovery support

We seek partners that protect participant dignity, use qualified care, welcome evidence-based treatment, plan for co-occurring mental-health needs, measure outcomes responsibly, and provide durable community support.

Faith expressed through service

Our Christian faith calls us to practical compassion, responsible stewardship, humility, and hope. Spiritual care can complement—but should not replace—appropriate medical or behavioral-health treatment.
